| About Us |
Household Appliance Sales and Service Co. started in 1972 as SASCO Branch 80 (Sunbeam Appliance Service Co., a division of Sunbeam Corp. in Niles, Il.). We still have some of the original staff working with us today.
Sunbeam's home office and factory were originally located in Chicago. Back then, we were known in the Chicago area as a Sunbeam factory outlet center. It was the largest Sunbeam servicer in the country, one of over 100 factory-owned service centers, providing repairs and new Sunbeam and Oster products. Over the years. Sunbeam closed all the factory-owned outlet service centers and Branch 80 was the last one in the US to be closed in the mid 80s. We have changed ownership and location, but are still in the suburban Chicago neighborhood where we started. We are still providing nationwide Sunbeam and Oster services and new products at our facility. Our facility has been providing Sunbeam and Oster products and services to our customers for over 36 years now, and are proud to have been serving our Sunbeam and Oster customers online for over 7 years. |
