Very Important: Before using your Sunbeam Hot Shot, add water to the heating chamber BEFORE PLUGGING the hot water dispenser into an outlet, especially the first time the unit is used and whenever the unit has been exposed to freezing temperatures.
SUNBEAM HOT SHOT OPERATING STEPS:
- Read and follow the instructions molded inside the cover of your Sunbeam Hot Shot.
- Prior to first use, wash heating chamber and lid with a damp, soapy cloth and rinse well. Do Not Immerse Unit.
- Pour the amount of water you wish to heat and use up immediately (up to 16 fluid ounces - 475 ml.) into the heating chamber. Do not overfill heating chamber. Do not use more than 16 FL. OZ. (475 ml).
- Use the Sunbeam Hot Shot hot water dispenser to heat water only. Do not attempt to heat any other liquid or food in this unit.
- Plug into 120 volt outlet.
- Close the cover and press the HEAT lever.
NOTE: The red light will be on while the water is heating and will turn off when the water is ready to dispense.
- Add beverage ingredients to your cup and center cup on the base underneath the dispensing spout.
- When the red light turns off, press the DISPENSE lever to fill the cup with heated water. Drain the Sunbeam Hot Shot completely after each use.
- Mix and the beverage is ready for your enjoyment!
NOTE: If a second cup of water is to be heated immediately, be sure the unit is completely drained, and then add the desired amount of COLD water. The cold water will help cool the tank and allow the reset of the thermostat.
