Sunbeam grill griddle
- use for making eggs, pancakes,
bacon, etc. on your grill
- cast iron, 11 lbs., 14¼" x 14¾"
- As with any cast iron cookware, must be seasoned before use; see instructions below

Griddle seasoning instructions*:
-
Wash griddle in hot, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.

Apply a thin coating of melted shortening (Crisco, for example) or vegetable oil with a soft cloth or paper towel to both sides.

Preheat grill to 350 degrees. Place griddle upside down on cooking grid.

Bake in grill for one hour.

Turn grill off. DO NOT OPEN. Allow griddle to cool down in grill (several hours).

There may be a film on your griddle, this comes off after use. You will have to use it a couple times as a test. Process may have to be repeated for optimum results.
